Opis
quotes:
"I'm not surprised that you saw through me, my old pet. But here's something you didn't know. The Dark Spirals were based on your own beloved Tail Ring so in a way, you caused those Digimon to be enslaved." -Myotismon to Gatomon.
Myotismon, known as Vamdemon in the Japanese version, is an Undead Digimon whose Japanese name and design are derived from the words "Vampire" and "Demon," while its English name comes from a species of bat called the Myotis.
he is one of the main antagonists of the Digimon franchise, serving as the main antagonist of episodes 22-39 of Digimon Adventure series and its sequel series Digimon Adventure 02.
He is the Digidestined's arch-nemesis, as well as Kari and Gatomon's archenemy. Other versions of him also reappeared in the videogame Digimon World Data Squad and in the anime Digimon Fusion (season 3) and Digimon Ghost Game.
It is a Digimon resurrected through dark arts. Considered by many to be the king of Undead Digimon, it has gained immense power over them. It was originally born from a potent and brutal virus that destroyed the data of the computers it infected. Afterward, it used its abilities to revive this destroyed data as malevolent viruses. Possessing an extremely cruel and cunning personality, it is a truly difficult Digimon to destroy. However, it can only demonstrate these powers at night, as its abilities diminish in sunlight, which can even cost it its life.
As for its appearance, it's a humanoid Digimon with an aristocratic air and attire. This clothing is very similar to that of Count Dracula. It dresses elegantly in a dark blue suit cinched with two belts; it wears a red and black cape with a very high collar, and a red mask of similar design. It has blue eyes, blond hair, and quite pale skin due to its nocturnal habits. Its lips are purple. It wears gray gloves with bat designs and tall black boots, the left one with a skull design and the right one with a bat design.
Myotismon presents itself as a cruel and bloodthirsty Digimon, rarely allowing its enemies to escape the battlefield alive. It possesses a cunning and strategic personality, making it a formidable threat, as it has a knack for escaping or deceiving its opponents. It has extensive knowledge of magic and the dark arts, enabling it to cast spells and incantations of all kinds. It also appears to have a degree of telekinesis or mental powers, as its gaze can intimidate, paralyze, or even destroy enemy attacks with ease. As a nocturnal creature, it thrives in darkness, since sunlight weakens it and can even kill it. This is also why it needs the blood of another living being to maintain its strength. This makes it a formidable enemy, as it doesn't hesitate to drain blood from its foes in the heat of battle, securing victory in a despicable manner. Like many other villains, he treats his henchmen and helpers as mere pawns, who, when they fulfill their function or betray him, he executes without flinching and without feeling the slightest pity for them.
quotes:
"Power Attack" and "Energy Cannon"
"Watch out for his 'Energy Cannon' attack, it'll drive you bananas!" — Michael, describing Gorillamon in Digimon Tamers.
Gorillamon is a Beastkin Digimon. It is a Power Digimon endowed with the arm strength to crush anything and the leg strength to crush things underfoot no matter how hard they are. However, it surprises the opponent with light movements that aren't expected from its physique, and seizes the opportunity to add to the attack with the Energy Cannon on its right hand. It found its aesthetic in "Hit and Away".
Gorillamon is a bipedal, muscular gorilla-like Digimon with white fur and blue eyes. It has black skin on its face, chest, hand, right arm, and feet, and it wears several belts on its left thigh. Its right arm is mechanized, connected to its flesh with cables. The right arm leads down to the "Energy Cannon" that replaces its right hand.
Well, I bring you two Digimon that some of you have been waiting for. (Even though they already appeared in some old screenshots.) Anyway, here you have the evil vampire of darkness, Myotismon, and the cybernetic copy of King Kong. Seriously, did anyone think adding a Mega-Man-style cannon to a gorilla was a good idea? Never mind. Here they are, friends: Myotismon and Gorillamon! Enjoy!
