G29 on GTA Free

Logitech G29 Custom Manual Transmission & Wheel Support (Beta)

A lightweight, custom C++ script mod (.asi) built for the Logitech G29 (and G29 Special Edition). It adds manual transmission physics, realistic clutch dynamics, engine stalling, and an on-screen input telemetry overlay to single-player GTA V.

Features:
- Multiple Transmission Modes: Switch between H-Pattern Shifter, Sequential (Paddle Shifters), and Automatic modes on the fly (F10 key).
- Realistic Clutch & Friction: Smooth pedal engagement rather than an instant on/off toggle.
- Engine Stalling: Engine cuts out if you stop in gear without depressing the clutch or take off without enough RPM.
- Live Telemetry HUD: On-screen RPM bar, active gear indicator, and real-time throttle/brake/clutch input pressure bars.
- Logitech SDK Integration: Native steering, pedal, and shifter support via Logitech DirectInput wrappers.

Requirements:
Before installing, make sure you have:
- Script Hook V (ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll)
- Logitech G HUB or Logitech Gaming Software (running in the background)

Installation:
1. Extract the contents of the .zip archive.
2. Copy G29wheelmod.asi and LogitechSteeringWheelEnginesWrapper.dll directly into your main GTA V folder (where GTA5.exe is located).
3. Launch single-player GTA V and get into a vehicle!

Controls & Usage:
- F10: Toggle Settings Menu (change shift mode)
- Left/Right Arrows: Cycle gearbox modes in menu
- Clutch + Throttle: Restart engine after stalling

Note: This is a beta release. If you experience crashes, simply remove G29wheelmod.asi and LogitechSteeringWheelEnginesWrapper.dll from your game folder.
