"This teasing little hardbody debuted at the tail end of the 80s, edging a tantalizing line between standard commuter vehicle and screeching drift monster, yet never quite committing to either. Headed to another day at the office? Tearing down Vinewood Boulevard at noon with your fourth speedball of the day already dissolving in your eight cup of single-origin cold-brew? Whatever your pleasure, Annis' iconic 4-seater is guaranteed to get you Hardy."
The Hardy is primarily based on the sixth-generation Nissan Laurel (C33), with the taillights bearing resemblance to the 1995–1996 Nissan Cefiro (A32). The grille and headlights appear to be inspired by the first-generation Toyota Soarer GT.
